AfterMarke Muffler for stock 3" Straight Piped
Ok...
I removed my muffler a while back...
I removed my resonator recently...
Man is this loud
I'm not saying I'm going to add a muffler...but, I was just wondering...has anybody put an AfterMarket muffler on (that sounds real good and isn't outrageously expensive ) after having straight piped your stock 3" exhaust ?
I know some will say I should get a 4" exhaust system...but, I'm just curious about this...

Re:AfterMarke Muffler for stock 3" Straight Piped
I've got a dynomax race muffler on my truck and I think it sounds good. It's a straight through muffler and I think it cost around $35. They come in 3, 3.5, 4 and 5 inch. I got mine from jegs or summit, can't remember but they both have them.

I think most straight through mufflers would at least help you out a little bit without causing your egt's to increase. I know that my truck is also almost too loud inside for the Wife & Kids while towing since I lost my res and muffler.

No problem. I like mine. Can hardly hear the exhaust while cruising down the road, course i have an open element K&N, so I hear more turbo than anything, but you can definately tell it's not the stock exhaust when you get on it. No resonating either.
