advise for washers on 215 injectors

got a set of low milage 215s coming soon and need some advise on the washers[thin from what im reading].previous owner installed 370s and used the washers!!is the thin ones a cummins part,stock for these[will know the numbers tomorrow or fri]or are they aftermarket in a kit? im hoping to obtain them,the seals and the return washers at cummins but if i need to order elsewhere i would appreciate input!!!!!i run lots of wvo and i will reset the timing to 16 or so!!! any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!!

you can get a kit for each individual injector from cummins. I got the injector kit from them and it came with your crush washers and new rubber orings. It's anywhere from 4 to 6 dollers, they wanted to know my engine serial number and cpl number so you may want to get those before you give them a call.

The washer thickness is specific to each injector manufacturer, too thin or thick and the spray pattern will be messed up.
Personally I don't guess or take another person's word for it, just call the injector manufacturer.

thanks guys!!i have not changed the 180s and have never ran 215s.mine have 385 thou miles on them and i have been looking for some 215s for quite a while.these are marked 0325 ast the top,and actually hve the old washers intact.i wont be using them though,and have ordered the washers[about .020 to ..022 thick]seals and return washers from cummins.banks plate 25 boost 4inch exh no cat,timing to be checked soon,and having a ball with wvo!!!does vo respond favorably to timing[about 16]or does it like even more??i hardly ever pull over 4000,and nothing 95% of the time!!thanks again...ron.t

Better start saving for a tranny with those mods. Take it from one who's found out the hard way.

i have had a ats tripleloc for about 175thou ang i agree 100% on needing it for almost ANY AMOUNT of modification!!killed the stocker with banks stuff!!ats conv,valve body,and emjay controller have worked flawlessly for years,and i recommend them to anyone!!!
