Got a Adrenaline pulse, and installed it today with my stock ecm. So far I like it power is smooth, smoke is in check, install was easy....

I wanted to get actual user input though

Im also wondering about the custom tunes though.

I have read through some of the info posted by the quadzilla folks, still I have questions about a few of the adjustments

what is the logic behind adjusting the boost scaling? What is happening when I change it up and down? How does the boost scaling and CAN fueling work in relation to one another?

When you change the min tps CAN fuel and the max CAN fuel does the map get more gradual and less gradual? basically making the fuel rate longer and more gradual or shorter and steeper?

basically Im having a hard time conceptualizing how the adjustments work separately and together?

 

I don't even mess with them. Just load the latest Comp tune and run it.

 

Was wondering if anyone would know the parameter for the pulse custom tuning to make it smoke.

timing- 8-10 degrees
can max-60
can min-10
bus max-60
bus min-10
boost scale- 5-10psi

This will roll coals however will not be very drivable. My custom tune I run for playing is.

pump stretch-2200(Great Torque however you will loose some top end power)
timing- 10 degrees over stock(carefull with high boost and lots of timing)
can max-70
can min-15
bus max-70
bus min-15
boost scale 20 psi

This tune will light my tires in 4wd. However just play around with the settings until you find one that works in your truck. Every trucks react different to different settings. Im not sure why you would want to roll coals everywhere. You might as well just throw 20 dollar bills out the window

 

I just want something to mess around with tailgaters.
