i doubt you will get one answer for who is best but more of what you want to do with it... i would recommend edge for the reason i dont want custom programming and it is just more to deal with where my comp i have only 5 selections to choose whether i want kill mode or tow mode. i have yet to use a qzilla so i have nothing bad to say but my comp has held up nice and no problems yet so research and decide i just think that a adrenaline is too much for me as i would not use it to its full potential.

If only going with one box and nothing else... get the Comp.
The Adrenaline will make more power and the Pulse Controller is great... with lots of interesting readouts.
But, if daily driving with power turned up, the Comp is smoother.
Don't get me wrong.... I love the Adrenaline. Just not for daily driving. Because it powers off of throttle position, instead of boost levels, it can have surging issues.
I daily drive with the Adrenaline off and just my injectors and my Smarty.... about 425 hp.

If you haven't upgraded your auto tranny... don't get either. Get a Smarty instead. It's all the stock trans can handle.

If you are doing a full rebuild, and going for HP down the road.... The Smarty stacked on the Adrenaline is spectacular, IMO.
But be that as it may.... nothing beats the Smarty for fun daily drivability! I believe very few on the DTR would argue with me in this point!

Good Luck...... RJ

i would have to say drag comp or just a comp. adrenaline made less power and surges and bucked like crazy. but just like everyone on here you will need to try about every box and programer out there before your happy with one or two.

ill have to agree with ya on the smarty.
i kinda think everyone needs a smarty and then somethin to stack on top.

if i had it to do again id get smarty first instead of buying many other boxes.

It's a toss up. I loved my Comp stacked with the Smarty.
The Adrenaline/Pulse is nice but not great.
If you are just starting out get the Edge Juice w/Attitude.
Seeing that it looks like you have no gauges the Juice will be good. Upgrade your trans and fuel system.

injectors

I have a pretty much stock truck with a power puck (50horse) and intake and boost fooler. Would it be a bad idea to just get injectors to go with that?

I have the edge juice with the attitude monitor and i love it. Its perfect to start out with, and i have a smarty on the way to stack them as well. i have heard many good things about the Adrenaline w/Pulse but i have also heard more good things about others.

Less Power?? The Adrenaline is the only box I've tried that gave my automatic 180 hp. Comp and TST would level off at about 150 hp.

Mine surged also, till I replaced my weak APPS sensor. New sensor and the fueling 'custom tuning' with the Pulse made it very smooth....
just very throttle sensitive.
