Adjustable '03 Track Bar

'03 Adjustable Track Bar

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We've just finished building a new Track Bar. The bushings have to be custom made as the stock '03 bushings are not available, and the original track bar bushings are too soft to use 2. These oem size bushings are made to exceed '03 track bar specs. The bar is 1 1/4" solid shaft, with 4" of adjustment. Also we have designed a new drop bracket for use with lift kits. These new track bars will fit '94-'02 trucks with either bracket and '03 and up. Price will be $249.00 US for the track bar and $179.00 US for the bracket. They will be available in March.

Will the drop bracket replace the drop bracket that comes with the lift kit? Forgive my ignorance, but what would the adjustability allow us to do? An extra setting for alignment?

Seems kinda pricey.....I can get an adjustable track bar made from .25 wall 1.75" DOM tubing sleeved over 1.5" DOM tubing at the bends. With the bracket, it's only about $20 more than your track bar alone.

They also have a track bar that is a direct bolt in replacement for stock height trucks, no bracket required for less than your track bar alone.

At $428 for that set up, it's almost $70 more than the DT track bar.......

I'll jump in.

Looks like you throw away the skyjacker extension bracket and use the Solid Steel one.

The extended bracket and trac bar adjusted to it's shortest will fit a truck with a 2 or 3 inch lift.

Extend the track bar for trucks with more lift.

4 inches of adjustment will fit up to around 7 inches of lift?
(standard 5 inch with a 2 inch spacer on top)

Yes, that is somewhat steep , can it be ordered with no powdercoat on it to drop it to the price of a DT.

the adjustment would allow you to center your axle from side to side depending on the amount of lift, the taller the spring the more the axle shifts to the side thus needing adjustment...

well considering the trackbar and the bracket together cast pretty much the same as my last factory trackbar I think it's a good price, especially considering there's no more balljoint to wear out

I think I'll be getting one this summer

Well I guess you should go get one made then.. Or get the DT if you so desire..

Good Stuff Russ.. If I would have know I would have gone that route instead of the stock '03 track bar. Oh well.. I have had mine in for about 6 months now, GREAT PRODUCT..
