i have been told by a couple of guys that 97s came with a cat, but when i bought my truck it already had a 4in exhaust on it. i just recently took the muffler off and straight piped it, but now am worried that it wont pass inspection in Delaware. Can anyone tell me if they know 100% if the 97 came with them or not, or if i may have a problem passing if i do need one?

 

I know they came with one. Not to sure about inspection. From what I've seen state that have inspection are picky about emisions which is what the cat is for.
