57mm turbos
57mm turbos
so im about to get some 75HP injectors and a new turbo to make around 360HP. Can someone tell me what the difference between these 4 s300's is?
pdr super s300--$1070
htt htbg 57--$1400
super b--$1335, comes with downpipe and adjustable wastegate
d-tech 62/65/12--$1099, i know this one has a 62mm comp wheel but its $600 less than similar turbos from the other 3 places.
don't know if a 62 would be to laggy at that HP level?

It'll make great power and spool that charger with no problem. In fact, you'll be glad you went bigger. 12 V motors need the air.
Dave
guess i shoulda put that stuff in my sig too. I've had this truck for about ten years and been own some of the other forums for almost as long, if its a free upgrade I've done it! thought id give you guys a try for a while. fixed my sig.
so you're saying that the d tech is a off the shelf s300 with a 62mm wheel (s362)? probably be staying away from the 62s anyways as i tow with this truck and i don't need any lag.
Just because something is cheaper does not mean that its' crap. Do you shop around for the best price when buying fuel or go for the most expensive cause it's gotta be better?. Just because company A sells a turbo for x amount doesn't mean there being honest ,There profit margin may be huge. Just my two cents.

Talk to HTT a little more about some options. You could look into a HX 35/40 hybrid. Thats a smaller turbo that Ive heard great things about for about that 300-450 hp range. 450 max I think.
I also think you'd be just fine with a 62/65/12. That turbo will spool good.

i had a set of twins: stock hx35 over ht3b with 24 housing,, which is considered a small set, but imo is way laggier then stock.
i know of 2 places that sell new 62/65/12 or 14 for under $1000
