5000rpm 12v...
Hi all, I know that PDW sells a 5GSK for $175 but what all else is needed to safely turn those RPM's? I am only really looking for 4500-4700RPM... But a little extra potential is ok
Are 60lb. Valve springs stout enough or would custom springs be needed? Other than that what other add-ons are necassary? I would also install a Fluidamper to help keep harmonics inline
Thanks everyone!

I don't see anything over 3000-3500 being useful unless you are sled pulling where you need the rpms, and you don't exactly have a sled pulling clutch. Don't feel bad though, I don't either.

5k is not really hard to get to with a 12v. This one let go at 7710 per the taddle-tale button.

When it's setup and has the power to spin to 6K under load, then all at once the load comes off the engine, they will over rev really fast!!!
I think he broke the Ring and pinion on that run, and then the engine over revved and blew...cause and effect kind of deal! At least that's what I think I remember from that pull!
