Question 4x4 Front Shock Swap ??

What's the EASIEST (besides paying someone else) way to swap the front shocks on a 2nd Gen 4x4 ???

I don't think there is any easy way...Just one way.Loosen the one lower bolt from the shock and remove the top shock tower that is attached with 3(or is it 4) nuts.Remove the one nut that attachs the tower to shock.No need to spend money for some else to do it.Its a very easy job.

I did mine not too long ago and replaced with rancho 5000's. Everything went good on the first 3, then I got the the drivers side front and i realized how much junk was in the way. Thought it was going to be a nightmare. But actually, I was able to unbolt the shock tower and leave it down near the fender, and pull the shock straight up through all the mess that is near that drivers fender. I think I was able to spread the hoses for the hydroboost brakes just enough to slide the shocks right in between them without having to disassemble anything. That was the worst part of the whole deal and once i figured that out it wasn't hard.
