So all I need is some wire, wire tap, a 33k ohm resistor, and a switch? Sounds easy enough to me

Well, I used a 33 ohm resister. I bought them from Radio Shack. Part number 271-1104. I got the part number from another member here on DTR. I also used a green LED (that way it kinda matchs my factory dash lights). Part number 276-271.

I did some more searching and it is 33 ohms not 33k ohms.Sorry for any confusion. Anybody have any ideas as to why the light I installed will dim when I let my foot of the go pedal with the switch locked up? Thanks Trevor

Thanks for the help guys, I really do appreciate it. I'm trying to find every method to get this truck up to where I want it to be, and having the TC locked when I want it to be will definitely make me happy!

Well, the confusion was my fault. Sorry about that. 33 ohms just seemed sorta small to be, but I'm no electrical engineer

33k ohms it is!
