i installed a 4000 kit in my buddies 97' 5-speed he as well has no plate, afc slid, star maxed and intake. This is only the second kit I have done. It went off with out a hitch got it all buttoned up, fired it up idles around 700 800Truck doesnt run or act funny in anyway just doesnt have seemed to of woke it up like mine. Mabey with timing bumped and injectors it would seemed to have done more. Just wanted some help to see if anyone has installed this kit in a similar modded truck and had the same outcome thanks for any input.

 

Bump the timing to around 17* and you will see a whole new top end. My 95 is still stock timing, for now, and with the 4k GSK its much better than it was for being an auto, but still not great.

Bump the timing that alone will help it alot. Also he many be flooding it out on the lowend, if I set all my AFC and starwheel FF and romp on the go-pedal it bogs for a few seconds and do nothing other than block the sun lol.
