Are your EGT's out of sight or what? We can hit 1500* on a hill towing a 17,500 lb. load.

if I haven't gotten my point across by the time it hits 1600*, I'm not going to make my point!

I generally only get it hot on the highway when playing with another diesel or a kid in a rice burner... from about a 70mph roll in 5th, it's hitting 1600* at about 95-100mph... like I said, by then, the point has been made, and I get out of it.
