3K GSK issue

I installed a 3k kit and a #10 plate. I definately feel the difference in power, but I can't say much for the gov kit. I've yet to go over approx. 2800rpm. I am having some egt issues as well. my max boost is 27psi. At idle my truck lopes like it has a cam, sometime dies. I have'nt rasied my timing yet either, I'm hoping that lowers my egt's. Anyway, back to the springs. I understood it should run to about 3200rpms. Is there something I need to recheck?

Did you reset the idle??? It may be way to low. Also the amount that the stud shows thru the retainer nut should be around .050.
Also did you change the boost elbow????

I am running stock springs in my truck and you can feel it start to defuel at 2500 to 2700 rpm's and will run up 3000 very easy, I wander what kind of rpm's I would see with a 3gsk. Does anyone have an idea.

Did you install the plate at stock position? A #10 in an auto pump add much fuel at stock and needs a bump forward. That may raise your boost.
Also try plugging the wastegate. Some of the boost elbows aren't set correct.

Lope? It sounds as if the springs are a click or 2 loose. The correct settings holds all the springs snug, not tight.

I have a 97 auto with GSK & #4 plate. GSK fuels to 3,200 rpm and limits engine rpm to about 3,600 rpm.
