Installed the 3K today and got the results everyone on this site talks about. Truck responds quick and pulls hard. Only question is on all the install instructions I've read, the stock pump has 2 springs inside the large idle spring. Mine had 3 with the inside spring being about half the length of the other two. Is this normal? I left the small spring out and installed only what came with the kit and it seems fine?

 

some have two springs to pull, some have three, you did the right thing , governor spring kit was first change I made to my truck, even before fuel plate, it makes a HUGE difference
