I have a couple of questions. Can I install the 3K GSK kit in a stock truck that does not have guages or any other mods. beside have the fuel plate slid forward? Will it help with power on a
stock truck? And what does it do for mileage good or bad? thanks


"98" quad cab, auto,12 valve no mods except the fuel plate slid forward.

 

If you have even a stock fuel plate slid forward, I'd recommend a pyro gauge before anything else. A slid plate will get things hot quickly, especially with a factory exhaust. Fuel mileage is almost entirely detrmined by your right foot Having said that, the 3k gsk makes an otherwise stock automatic truck much more fun to drive from what I hear. Hope this helps.

Pleasre take G1625S's advice, he hit the nail right on the head. You NEED a pyro and the 3 gsk and bonus they are on sale at piers. just my .002

 

Thanks G1625S and Sharpmachine I will get the guages before I install 3K spring kit.

 

After you install gauges DEFINATLEY get the GSK though!! It made my truck a LOT more driveable than before! It used to wait around about changing gears, and just slowly gain speed. Now i mash it, and im gone! Definatley an awesome mod.
