35/40 hybrid with DDP2's, 3400 rpm 215 pump
In my never ending search for the mods that I want, I have yet again changed my mind. My goal has always been clean, economical power. I've been talking with Ross at DDP, even spoke with him tonight on the phone. He says that the DDP Stage 2's, my #11 plate, 16* timing, 4" exhaust, and some pump tweaking would be a very nice setup. He seems very knowledgeable, and I trust that he won't try to BS me. All the components for my exhaust will be in tomorrow morning, so this weekend that should all go on. I believe I will order the rebuild kit, compressor upgrade, and turbine housing from HTT. My only hang up if you will, is which turbine to get. I've been leaning towards the 14 cm non-gated housing, and setting the pump so I don't have more than about 42 psi. As soon as the either the compressor or turbine is ordered, I'm commited, which is something I'm looking forward to. 350-375 hp is fine with me at this point. Money at this point is an issue, and I know there are cheaper injectors out there, but I like everything I've heard from and about DDP.
And one other thing, how do I get 3200-3400 rpm out of my 215 pump? It fuels to about 2900 right now, and I don't want to get a 4k and have it revving that high. Any way of tweaking the 3K GSK to get the extra couple hundred out of it without sacrificing driveability? Will the washer mod do it without being super touchy on the go pedal?

If you already have a 3k GSK, just go in there and tighten the retaining nuts one more click each (1/4 turn).
If you're only getting 2900 rpm it sounds like someone didn't put em in tight enough during the install because a 215 pump should rev to 32-3300. No need for a washer mod with 3k on a 215 pump.

Truck has the stock governor springs, no 3k or anything. Should I just pick a kit up from citydiesel for $97 and set it for 3300? I'm not looking for a ton more, just that extra couple hundred rpm so I can smoke out my buddies PSD longer
