330's Injector Install..?'s

I pulled my old injectors out, and noticed that each bore in the head, where the injector is pushed in, has some rust. This does not concern me too much, as this is just clearance around the injector body. BUT, the surface at the bottom of the head, where the copper washer is to seat and seal the injector, is also rusty on (4) of the cylinders. Would love to spray some WD40 and scotchbrite the bore and seat, but guess where it all will go...yes, into the cylinder.

SO, are there any tips for cleaning the bottom of the head, where the injector/copper washer seal against the head?

I plan to do some vacuuming...have a 1/4" plastic tubing attached to my vacuum, and will go down each bore, and clean it out. Maybe I should just clean it, and what ever falls, will just be blown out when I fire it up. Let me know your thoughts?

Yeah, i would vaccum as you say you are going to, and just install the injectors. If they dont leak it will be fine.
