I agree were all looking to increase mpgs....don't forget the "tire size" adjustment in the calculation as most of us don't have the exact factory tire sizes.
i went 1980 miles on 60 gals. i have an 8 speed tranny i never see over 2K rpms i have a lowered front bumper to cut down drag 2wd truck tonneu cover and use my head when driving. (throttle down hill coast up hill) 235-85-16's and every once in a while convince a semi to let me draft him. any other ?'s to help you guys.

Sounds like that might work. Your using your head. 8 spd tranny? I once looked into an overdrive gear box. It was way too expensive. It would take 5 years to pay out. How long did it, or will it, take to pay for your upgrades.
heres a pic of my "custom valance"
