2nd generation factory tow mirrors

i was trying for the longest time to come across a dealer who would give me a ''good'' price on the non- heated, non-powered factory plastic fold out tow mirrors for my ram with no luck. every parts dept i went to would look them up and quote me like $ 225 a piece plus tax. finally , i figured it out!! when you have them do a general part look up, its very expensive- when they look it up as an accessory , it far cheaper. so, instead of $500. for 2 mirrors, it was $200. out the door for both!! and if memory serves, the dealers parts book shows these mirrors for like 2000 or 2001 and up and previous years show as the west coast chrome mirrors that bolt through the door. my truck is a 1997 and they bolt on exactly right.

Genos Garage has them from the regular to the heated/electric, but they are a little pricey.

We need pics Frank.

I think they are a sweet look.

I want them for my '99.

I'd love to keep them power/heated too though.
