275's or VA?

I've decided to add both the 275RV injectors and the VanAaken box, but don't think I can do both at the same time. Which would be the first one to add, or should I wait until I have both before installing? Want to help towing performance, don't want to blow my stock tranny. TC & VB in the future, but it's going to take a while.

Crap I posted in the wrong forum. Sorry!

I added the VanAaken first, with no real plans to do injectors, and it made a huge difference in towing power, and a little better fuel mileage. I later added 275 injectors and that is an awesome combo for towing. I have added an on/off switch to the VA, and it is hard to tell a difference from stock with just the 275's, although fuel mileage should be better. I really like the combo but you don't need to do both at the same time.

I can help you with one or both if you dont have a dealer that you are working with.

You could install either one first, but the VA wil give you more total performance. It will be a great combo having both. Let me know if there is anything that I can help you with!

I'm jealous of your prediciment!

If it were me, I would get the VA first.

And.............. the minute I have the available funds, I will do so myself!

Timberman,

It's sort of a trade off, the VA will get you more HP by itself, but it costs more too. The 275RV's will show their strength when you tow or load the engine, so you won't get as much use out of them under normal no load driving. I'd do the VA first as it'll pep the truck up for all driving uses etc.

I did the injectors first, and found little difference over stock. it seemed to have more power right at the bottom end though... I mean it started in 2nd much smoother. adding the VA was a world of difference. I say go VA and as soon as you can afford it, you can add the injectors.
