2002 24v best aftermarket lift pump opinions

Hi I was wondering which lift pump would be the best to put in my 02 24v. I ultimately want to put an edge juice w/attitude in it. It has 260000 klms on it. I just bought it and I want to get a good lift pump in it asap because of the obvious reasons. Thanks

A cheap fix is the DDRP FASS direct replacement pump has good solid pressure. Go buy the Geno's garage relocation kit and put at the frame rail. And remove banjo bolts with their replacement fittings. It keeps good solid pressure to the VP44. If you're going with larger mods, then the regular FASS system or Airdog are pretty good pumps.

If you want to buy new pumps every 2-4 years, just buy a fass or airdog. If you want bomber reliability and watch your psi along with rpm's, get a mechanical lift pump like the Fuel Boss or a RASP/ MITUSA.

Be leary of the DDRP, I have read several instances in where a user had to have it replaced numerous times. Now FASS gave them no issues in replacing it... but still to some having your truck down means money lost.

I went with a Raptor 150, with 1/2" line from the tank to the VP44. Check out www.vulcanperformance.com

I second what MasterLow said, Glacier fuel boss, mechanical pump, low maintenance, very reliable, no little electric motor up on the frame rail to get splashed with salt, dirt, grime, can keep your original pump installed for a backup or priming after a filter change if needed. Definitely tops in my book.

do yourself a favor and install a fuel pressure gauge regardless of which pump choice you make
