2001 Ram heated/powered mirrors

Id like to install heated and powered mirrors on my 2001 Ram SLT Laramie. I understand its prewired for such option. I found these online and was wondering if someone else has good experience with them?

Those aren't "telescoping", those are flip outs...I'm skeptical of ebay when the seller isn't more specific and question their actual knowledge of what they are selling....search Towing mirrors in this section and read up. My Kool-vues are well made, but the heaters went out within 18 months of installing them. Only the convexes clear now when powered up.

Also, some non premium trucks from our era didn't have the prewiring unless a) you already had heated power mirrors, or b) it was built as an SLT Laramie Plus with steering wheel controls, power windows/locks and heated seats. It should also have the wiring for the clearance (logger) lights. Just a heads up...

On my 01 I replaced the non towing power and heated mirrors with **** Mirrors. They were power,, heated and were (manual) telescoping. I cant remember for sure but they were either 9x9 or 10x10 with a spot convex mirror. I bought them from Genos Garage at the time but I dont think they still sell them. They were a direct bolt on no problems at all. I really liked them. Put them on 300k miles ago. Sold that truck to my BIL and they are still going. At the time, well over 10 years ago closer to 15 they were $200-250ish for the pair.
