1st post in performance..

First let me say Hi to everyone here on the forum. You guys offer alot of help and insight into these trucks. Thank You!

OK.. so I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 H.O. Cummins 6spd. Check my signature for mods. My question, Will the BD Pulse exhaust manifold help spool up the bigger turbo quicker? I feel as if it is a little laggy on the bottom end. Then again could just be im not used to the bigger turbo.

Thank You in advance for any and all replies!!

So long as you have a super B and not a super B special, you shouldn't be having any problems spooling that turbo. It should light as fast as an hx35.

I wouldn't drop the coin on a manifold unless the factory one is cracked (or you want a billet one for a wastegate flange). Any leaks between the head and the turbo will cause for sluggish response. That being said, the larger turbo (albeit only marginally bigger) will be less responsive. Its something you just have to deal with and learn to drive through or around.
