191 D/V install question...

191 D/V install question...
Im getting My 191's via UPS today, and may install them tonight. My factory D/V's have the washers under them. I asked the shop I bought my 191's from if those were needed with the 191's, and they said no, metal to metal was fine. Whats your guys opinions about this? I bought them from EIS diesel in WA. Thanks, Jim..
PS I know you should use new ones, but if it turns out I do need them under there can I get away with using the old ones once because I dont have any new ones handy
