I'm going to buy a PDR HX35 hybrid turbo. After researching and asking alot of questions the only one that remains is should I upgrade to the 14 cm2 WG exhaust housing or just keep the 12cm2? I tow a 8k 5r over 4000 ft passes and am keeping my exhaust brake so turbos with 4" down pipes are out. What do you fellas think? TA

what are your temps now?

 

i would do the 14cm because of your standard. JMO, not worth much...

 

Temps are not really a problem when towing. just looking to see which housing the towing crowd prefers.

As far as temps, I can control them with my right foot. I don't like to sustain 1200* pulling long grades...

 

is it hard to pull 1200? if not then the 12cm should be fine.

 

14 IMHO especially with a manual...
