12 vavle injetors? Who makes them?

Ok, I know everone is going to say 370's. But what else is out there?

Don M has a set that is 50hp over 370's Does he make others?

Who else makes them? What are they EDM's or Honed out injector.

I want to see what the options are out there.

i'm considering buying a set of Dr Performance injectors. They're the cheapest i've seen for twelve valves.45 horse injectors for 299.00 and 65 horse for 399.00.I think Dr Performance is normally way over priced, put the injectors are a good deal.

I don't think Don does much EDM in 12 valve these days. Market isn't there.
How about Dyno-Mite Diesel. The NorthWet Bombers running them are really impressed.

dieselhawg: You can get a set of stock 370's for 300.00 I would look at a set of them maybe......Thats new. Not the same tip as piers 370's but they are the same as many run on TDR and say they like them better.

Industrial Injection here in Utah makes a very good set of 12v injectors. I think they are honing them and shaving the pintle.

Both the fastest street legal trucks run Brady's injectors.

"I don't think Don does much EDM in 12 valve these days. Market isn't there."

I don't agree. Seeing all the 12 valve trucks getting bombed I would guess there's lots of owners who would buy injectors if there was more discussion on the topic. Myself included.

Don M, with the price of fuel now, what do you recommend for injectors and tuning (plate # and position, AFC position, timing) on a 12 valve for best economy? I drive a little around town, empty, but my my main concern is on the road with camper and boat where I'm getting 13-14 MPG at 62 MPH in overdrive. Load is about 14,000 total, standard tires properly inflated. I just let it run in cruise control except on the steepest hills I'll slow down to 50 and shift down to direct to ease the engine, although there's enough power to pull those hills in OD if I wanted to. EDIT: Oh, yea, stock exhaust with cat so it'll pass emmissions exam.

Lucas5477, I don't mean to hijack your thread. I think there are thousands of us wanting what you want, but I have seen that you don't get good answers on any forum unless you describe a specific application and goal.

I've asked the same thing and gone nowhere also. I would like to get injectors after I put my turbo on and get to about 400HP, but not sure if I need delivery valves also, and don't want the smoke that 370's put out. Can anyone help us properly valved folks?

What Don M~ means when he says that the market is not there is true...he can't compete in a market where the 370's are $300 and will make enough power for almost anyone out there.

Now, you guys who say you would pay more for an EDM, how much is more??? I have had this discussion with Don before, and Rod @ Wildcat shortly after I bought my truck (2 years ago). The power, and smoke, the 370's make is fine with most people, after all, they're $300. A set of Don's EDM's will run probably four times that (I've never got down to pricing a set, but will be shortly after some "supporting" BOMB's). So will you pay that much more for something that will do the same thing???

Another reason the 12v EDM injectors have dropped off is the amount of tuning involved in makeing the power, and getting rid of the smoke. The 24v's are WAAAY more forgiving in those terms, and most people don't want to spent that amount of time making a product work correctly. I know Don has told me that it will take quite a bit of work on my part to get a set of 12v injectors to run "like they should."

Take it for what it's worth, I'll soon be shelling out the bucks for a set of Don M~ fire sticks!

As soon as I get the money I will be buying a set of J.R's injectors. they will be bigger than the 370's and also allow for higer timing. What you run into with the 370's is on most truck anything over 18* will make the flower pattern of the injector spray shoot on the outside of the bowl on the piston which is not a good thing. with lower timing and thinner washers you can run 370's and be ok but they still don't burn the fuel as well as the stock 215 injectors. I have my head off right now and the pattern at 19.5 is right on the rim of the piston bowl. I need more timing for higher RPM'S but I can't up the timing until I get a set of new injectors. I have seen many dyno sheets that J.R has and his injectors do better than most of the other EDM injectors on the market and his price beats them all. when it comes to EDM's he knows his stuff and has many truck running his injectors and turbos placeing in the top on te classes at pulls.
