I know what you mean, but I'm not sure which ones you like best...

when I think "curved tops", I think of a curved top and the exit is pretty close to a 5" diameter... and I think "turnouts or tip outs" when they're more angled at the top and the actual outlet is a big oval.

I prefer the curved tops...

if you look at big trucks on the road, if they have the stacks facing out or back at a 45* angle, they're generally tip outs or bull haulers... if they're facing back, they're generally curved tops.

I put the curved tops on my truck.

"one thing I really miss about my stacks is that I got NO exhaust smell in the cab when sitting at a light idling"

And the folks that are near your trucks poop pipe are saying..... "I wish that guy would put his stacks back on!!!!"

since i alread have a 4" SS pipe running down the passenger side of the truck, would it be best for me to just put a 5" to 4" reducer at the bottom of the stack going down thru the bed, and use 4" flex to connect to my existing pipe. or would it be better to use an elbow then put a piece of flex from the elbow to the existing pipe.

I assume the flex is to allow the torquing of the frame, movement of bed etc. to happen without twisting my pipe/stack all around.

BTW I am 19 and live at home(i pay for my truck all on my own so i dont wanna hear any lip from the older guys )...I told my mother what I was doing to my truck and she said she will smack if I do because my truck is loud enough now that my neighbors complain. Sometimes I really enjoy being the dumb young kid who annoys the neighbors

believe it or not, it's not going to be any louder to passers by... and actually, it might be a little quieter because it's not pointing directly at houses and people

I loved my single 5x36" turnout... I love my dual 5x36" turnouts. I guess I just love stacks.
