I am also curious about the line size, I am going to do a p-pump swap for pulling only street/super street truck what size lines should I be after and why?

I don't know if it is true or not but I have heard you cant just put an SO pump in place of a HO? I would figure it has something to do with the ECM.

My tow rig is a 3500 6spd HO, just curious what kind of mileage do you get?

i have .084 lines and i beleive .093 crossovers with my newer vp. it idles rough kinda surges at low cruise speed and chugs a little when coming to a stop but all in all not to bad drivable sounds cool. it gets annoying though, all day especially in traffic. power is a little bit later in the rpm range it seems like. but not completely noticeable.

does it make more power? almost sounds like it makes things worse.

when you bought the larger lines and connector tubes I assume you were told there would be a power increase? how much did they say it would do? what is the theory behind doing this?

the larger tubes and lines retard your timing. i doubt you will see a benifit unless you had a p pump or a monster vp then you will need the volume of the larger lines and tubes.

by crossovers I guess that is the connector tube?

I have been told you could drill them out, I look at one and don't see how that is possible.

stuckey you are the man the lines retard the initial timing my my newer vp44 i had to go to larger lines and yes i picked up like 12 hp with them, the point of the larger crossover tubes is to have a resivor of fuel for the injectors. im not sure how that works but they did add power, but they do get annoying after a little while.

if you do a p pump swap. run the bigger lines and crossovers and you could have you injectors set to pop at the lower press of the p pump with larger lines and youd have the benifit of the larger volume and it would still idle. i know when doing the swap you can use your stock inj some work well some dont so you may have to have them adhusted any how.

0.93 lines and tubes idle perfectly with a p-pump and no change to the pop psi of the 24 valve injector

I wouldn't go to an .093 line unless it was an 13mm p pump.
