.093 Lines = Lope?
.093 Lines = Lope?
I'm looking at new injector lines for the 'ole 1st gen. I want to pull for at least a season or two with the VE before the infamous "Pee-Pump" goes on.
I was looking into oversize lines (.093's), and I'm being told that it will result in a hard lope at idle. I then remembered a video posted here awhile back of a 1st gen puller that had a nasty lope at idle, and that he was running the .093 lines. I have had a couple vehicles that hit a pretty good lick at idle (diesels included). While I agree that this sounds cool, in a diesel it is VERY annoying to drive on the street.
Will the .093 lines make it lope hard at idle? Or should I go ahead and get them?
