01.5 24V NV5600 Clutch

Good mornin! I reciently replaced the clutch in a friends truck with South Bend 1947 CON OFE. There is around 3500 miles on it now and its already slipping. When the engine is pulling between 1200-1900 RPMS there is a shutter, and a vibration that comes from the clutch. Plus when you stop and get out of the truck you can smell something burning (clutch) coming from under the truck...
I KNOW I installed the clutch correctly, I used to replace them all day long on 10, 13, 15, 18 speed Eaton's. I was told that once the clutch plate itself loosens up the problems will go away. I would think this clutch is fully broken in by now!?

Any ideas??

I called South Bend, they said to give it time and break it in somemore. I dunno. Both him and I have drove it, it did the same for both of us, but only when towing.
The install when CLEAN and flawless. The truck only has Bosch 300/275's. Stock turbo and no "chip" at this time.... Should be able to hold that power without a problem..

I have the Smarty and RV275 injectors. Installed the Southbend OFE over
45,000 miles ago and still works great. I tow a 7000# travel Trailer about
10 -12 times a year.

Mine has been great and never slipped. I installed a new flywheel with the heavy duty bearing and the upgraded master/slave cylinder combo. On a regular basis I tow 16,000lbs. If it were my truck I would be tearing into it to see what was up, you have far exceeded the break in period.
