00 6 Spd NON HO Input Shaft Size?

00 6 Spd NON HO Input Shaft Size?

Do all 6 Spds have the larger input or is it just the HO ? I have a 6 spd non HO and I thought I heard somewhere that some 6 spds have small input. I need to know because I need a clutch.

the earlier year models have the 1 1/4. The later models have the 1 3/8. im going to say you have the smaller shaft, but im not positive

I think you probably have the smaller of the two for the 2000. But it was my understanding that all 6 spd. trucks in 2000 were H.O.

I know this is wrong because I have a non High Output Six Speed.

If Fritz's page is correct, if you have a DEE in the glove box and the aluminum spacer, then you should have the larger input shaft.
