You mean Curtis? Stock turbo, with a very good tune from mcrat I believe on EFI live.

Sickening what all I had to go through to build my truck up to what it is and those LBZ's can lay down the same #'s with a built trans and EFI LIVE.

Really fast What?? It was quick, but not fast enough to try and dust off the Dodges in the end!! What you're hearing Jack is.. the action of the Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) on them trucks, found on 04.5-up models. Once the engine is lit.. it sounds more like a 500hp ShopVac. Models with fixed turbos (LB7: '01-early '04) sound like the normal raspy flutter were accustomed to hearing.

I can tell you that 90% of the time I go somewhere that involves diesel performance I run into Nick.

Hows the new rig running? Get a P-pump for it yet?

I havent' even unloaded the camper yet I will let you know when I get it going. I have about 30 minutes of footage. most of it is the trucks I have a little of us camping. I wish I had another battery there, those dvd-R video cams use the juice, I think it needs a set of injectors to get it up to speed

It's running good, going to be getting studs and fire-rings here in a week or two.

I'm still stoked at how well it runs with the VE, I may stay this route and get some bigger EDM'd injectors (6x.018 or so..) and hang an S400 under the S300 that's there now. If not, i know where there's a pile of p-pumps that can be made to really make it snort!

Thanks Nick. That was the answer I was looking for. I guess really fast will always be a relative to what statement. His first trip down the track is what I was basing really fast off of as me made his competition look so slow.
