The Buck June 21!!!
i think i got those announcer guys goin pretty good they were saying just about everything i was saying the one quoted "you keep us entertained and we entertain them(spectators)" i thought that was funny......ps hope everything works well for ya kevin sorry to see your truck RAM that fence and light pole
somehow kevins truck popped outta gear and rolled down the hill unmanned and took out two fences and a light pole....barely any damage done to the truck and no one was hurt thank god......and ty loved the ride in my truck
That was the first sled pull I've been to and it was pretty cool. The wife even liked it enough to want to stay till after the modifieds ran. I think she turns into a pumpkin if I get her home after midnight so I just made it in time, 11:55 in the door.It was good to see familiar faces and nice to meet some new ones.Between you guys and the announcers, and the kids behind us ready to beat each other up we were laughing pretty good. Holy crap were a couple of those pulls violent and that tug-o-war set up didn't look to safe.I can't believe that didn't punch a hole right thru one of the tailgates.Definitely some great entertaiment.
If they would learn how to hook the bar it would be safe, but what do I know I am just a bench warmer. I also had a great time at the buck once again, probibally the most fun yet. The next one is just around the corner on August 2nd so everyone be ready.
i also had a great time. next time i will get there earlier to enjoy the festivities beforehand.
so does anyone remember who ended up winning the street class? I had to leave early. I knew i was going to need sleep. i spent 13 hours today at the fire academy

Oh, BTW the anouncer (younger one can not remember his name) is trying to sell his CHERRY 93. There is no rust on it, its a former Arizona truck that he bought in 03. Just an FYI for all you first gen guys.
Well I made it home it one piece the air dynamics were off a little bit. Except for the smashed truck
, I had a awsome time though, hey smokems the announce came up to camper after you left and hung out for a while.
I am still amazed on how well the truck took it expecailly after hitting that pole ripping it out of the ground and breaking it in 2. Thats ram tough there!!
I am goin to the buck
in my dodge truck
ford an chevy s__k
I am goin to the buck!

I believe it was the '06 white, megacab/dually. That was the one that brings his own cheering section
.. "Travis Flory". He aired his front tires down a good bit and had a good pull! The '99 red 24 valve dually also finished well in the pulloff. Other than that, it was all Duramax. I have to admit.. I saw a good handful of them pouring in beforehand (trailer trucks).. and was getting a bit worried!
06 DIESEL: "Oh, BTW the anouncer (younger one can not remember his name)"
His name is Ty Andrews, last week he drove in, in an Intense Blue '07 5.9 truck, quad cab/shortbed. He must be a multi-CTD owner.. Not a bad idea to have one of them on that side of the microphone. He is or was a DJ for the Lancaster FM country station, "Big I 105".
Maintain: "One of the 3 powerstrokes that pulled modified."
Gotcha.. I knew the two other guys. Yours also has a chromed PSD badge on the door.. One that resembles a 6.0 PSD truck badge and makes me say "YUK" everytime!!
You also had some vandalism in the field last time.. Ever get that squared away??

Yup, it was my truck that was vandalized last time but it's 95% fixed now... actually putting in a new header panel, bumper, etc here soon (On rack @ the shop, just no time).
I have a painted door badge (standard on Platinum Edition).

What was the deal with that one really fast Chevy? It sounded like he was pumping twice the boost as everyone else. Was it just his wastegate or what?Don't worry I have no intention of jumping ship.I've had plenty of chevy and ford work trucks but only Dodges as my personal trucks for the last 30 yrs.
