Anyone here brewing Bio ?

I have arranged a 10 gal. a week WVO supply and I want to start brewing. I have been reading non-stop for about 2 weeks and even made the oil in my fry-daddy into bio. I guess what I am after is someone that makes a lot of it and has a good supply of KOH that could sell me some. The haz-mat fees on that stuff it very expensive.

Once I get everything up and running on a larger scale (more than 1 quart ) I want to send off a sample to see how good it is. I believe I am going to sell it to a friend of mine with a 12v and use the money to help off-set the fuel prices. Unless I checked the fuel and it was outstanding, I fear putting it in my HPCR engine.

Can you get your hands on that much WVO to make 150 gal a week? I just lined up a little more and I am at 25 gal. a week and I think that may be too much. I pretty much got parts here and there to put everything together. As long as the chemicals come through, I should be brewing this weekend.

We want to get brewing with a big processor, we need one that'll make at least 80 at a shot, dad and i both drive long beds with the 35gal tank. Let me know if you find any good prices, right now were getting parts to build the processor

I do not plan on making big batches, but trying to make the highest quality fuel. I have just aquired a 60 gal. horizontal air compressor tank that I am going to use as a vacuum WVO water remover. I have 2 a/c vacuum pumps that should be able to get down to 28-29 in. vacuum. With a little heat, there should be no water at all in it.

I need to make sure it is as good as I can make it for my truck. I am finally jealous of the 12v engines

If anyone is interested in going in on some KOH (potassium hydroxide) let me know. I have to get 100lb. at a time and I am not ready for that kind of volume. Here is a link to a great site for bio info.

I am checking at Smiths racing here in Newport PA today for methanol pricing. He is supposed to have some of the greatest pricing around. There is supposed to be a place in York that has methanol for 140$ 55 gal. + 10$ for the barrel. I am pretty sure the 10$ is a refundable core charge.

Jason is out by Philly. You might not be able to buy biodiesel from him, but home heating bio may be on the menu. Just shoot him a e-mail. He responds very quickly.

Give Jason a few days. He has the Flu. He sounded like KAKA when I talked to him yesterday.
