Cause I sure know it's mine.

My school was so small it didn't even have a football team.
We don't have a stoplight either just a few signs that say "WOE"

But you know what, I love it and wont ever leave. 8)

You Might Be From A Small Town If...

*You can name everyone you graduated with.

*You know what FFA is.

*You ever went to parties at a pasture, barn, or in the middle of a dirt road.

*Your idea of a FUN weekend was riding around parking lots because that is where EVERYBODY was.

*Your idea of an EXCITING weekend was watching a fight in the parking lot.

*You ever went cow-tipping or snipe hunting.

*School gets canceled for city, county, or state events.

*You were ever in the Homecoming parade.

*You have ever gone home for Homecoming.

*Everyone thought it was really cool to date someone from the neighboring town.

*You had senior skip day.

*The whole school went to the same party after graduation.

*You don't give directions by street names, but instead, like this: Turn right by Mark's house, go two blocks east past Henderson's, and it's four houses left of the track field.

*The country club golf course had only 9 holes. (Or there wasn't even one.)

*You can't help but date a friend's ex-boyfriend/girlfriend.

*The people in the city dress funny, then your town picks up on the trend a few years later.

*The football coach suggested that you haul hay for the summer to get stronger.

*Directions are given using "the" stoplight as a reference.

*The city council meets at the coffee shop.

*Your "letter jacket" was worn after your 19th birthday.

*You decide to walk somewhere for exercise and 5 people pull over and ask if you need a ride.

*Your teachers call you by your older siblings' names.

*Your teachers remember when they taught your parents.

*The closest Taco Bell or Burger King is at least 30 miles away.

*So is the closest shopping mall.

*You have a good laugh reading this because you know they're all true.

*Then you forward it to everyone who lives in your town (because you know them all)!!

We also had parties in the pasture all the time. You haven't lived till you see girls streeking cross a pasture feild.

<br><br>All but a few....but I could name them all at the time I graduated....<br><br> <br><br>Not only do I know what it is...I was an officer for all four years I was in school!! ;D<br><br> <br><br>Went to more than a few of these...mostly FFA related....no alcohol....<br><br> <br><br>Actually, my idea of fun was going crazy on a 4 wheeler when the parking lot at the high school froze over in the winter time.... <br><br> <br><br>Didn't happen very often....but always exciting and talked about for weeks after...<br><br> <br><br>Tried both...suceeded in neither... :<br><br> <br><br>Not quite...but they did let us out early when stormy weather was coming...<br><br> <br><br>When was I not....usually either on horseback or riding the FFA float.... ;D<br><br> <br><br> ;D Don't we all??<br><br><br><br>Not really... <br><br> <br><br>Definitely....stirred up a lot of trouble that day....<br><br> <br><br>There was a party?? ???<br><br> <br><br>Go through the &quot;square&quot; and turn by the gazebo....take a left at the flashing red light....go down past the middle school and turn left by the bus station....go a couple of blocks until you run out of road....then....<br><br> <br><br>Golf? What's golf??<br><br> <br><br>Been there, done that....<br><br> <br><br> ;D Actually...it was always Wranglers and boots for me....however, the shirts did go through phases...<br><br> <br><br>Spent many a hours hauling hay....never once liked it...<br><br> <br><br>See directions above....my town had ONE flashing red light. ;D<br><br> <br><br>Only for &quot;informal&quot; meetings....we actually did have a city hall. <br><br> <br><br>Can't claim this one...<br><br> <br><br>Hahahaha!!! That is deffinately my down. We had 53 kids in my graduating class last year. Great song by Montgomery Gentry also!

Yep. that sounds just like mine.<br> I remember my senior year they let out school for one week during rifle season. I guess they thought they may as well make it a holiday rather than have the whole school miss.

We used to get 2 weeks off to house ( harvest for you city dwellers ) tobacco every year. ;D<br> I would check in first day of school and walk out and say see ya in 2 weeks.<br><br> : Eddie : 8)
