Rod, your cows ain't dumb. They are just the wrong kind. You got them "good old boy" type that are fun to be around. You need to get them fancy "citified" types with names like Bessie, Blossom, and Clover. They would never poop in the wrong place.

Love working cattle in the squeeze chute. Never get dirty.

Last year, I bought a maternity chute that doubles as a squeeze. Before that it was rope and throw, except for a rattling old head gate that we used to lock up a cow that was having trouble calving. I felt positively guilty when vaccinating this year, as I didn't get kicked once and my jeans were near spotless at the end of the day
