Stressed out!
A/C just started blowing hot today. Checked the ac clutch fuse and it was blown. Replaced it and it blew again. Not being a gear head I don't know where this clutch is located in the engine. Looked at belts and everything seems to be tight and turning. Any advice would be appreciated. Also took truck to dealer today for increasing hesitation/ power loss. Checked codes and got the dreaded P0216. Will find out friday whats up with that. Not feeling so good right now.
Sounds like you have a bad clutch on your compressor. Your a/c compressor is located on the bottom right of the motor. if you look at it it should have a two wire plug coming off of it. unplug it and replace your fuse then turn your a/c on. ( no the a/c will not work) If the fuse does not blow then you clutch is bad. You can either replace the clutch or the whole compressor. I cant tell you which is better without seeing the truck. If you are going to take it to get fixed this will give you a heads up on what is going on.
this may help you with your 0216
