Yes Dan Blocker was his name, the show was Bonanza, GOOD SHOW!!!
He lived in Northridge CA, had a nice little ranch there. It was a shame when he died, the whole town mourned for quite some time. I grew up in Northridge, I remember seeing him in town, in the barber shop a few times getting his scanty hairs cut. He was TRULY a very nice guy, always took the time to talk to us kids when he saw us. Many of the Bonanza cast members had ranches in the area, Michael Landon, Lorne Greene, Pernell Roberts, to name a few.
So guys, just how many Gals do you think are here on the site? I bet you would be very suprised.
Cin and wanna - you have another reinforcement/ally.
And for all of those of you who are still seeking a definition for HUMAN - go take a good look in the mirror - now, realize you still have a long way to go and are somewhere in between the scale of neanderthal - human, but in any event are no way close.
As to the girl - to - still shaving the leg thing, at what age is it time to stop shaving or just plain give it up? I'm trying to figure out if I'm there yet?

I seem to be getting it Hoss, maybe one is too many? Interesting, as I know as many Gals with diesels as Guys. And actually, most of those Gals do their own maintenance too. Of course, you do need to know that I live in an out-of-the-way place and getting to a shop that know much of anything about diesels in my area is a pretty far-fetched ordeal. My closest dealership is 45 mins away. Where I actually bought my truck is a good 3 hours away. So I guess that may have a lot to do with why so many do their own maintenance. I do mine because I can and also because I like to do it. Most importantly, it is also because then I know it is being done right.
Hey Cin - I am the t-shirt and sweat pants kinda Gal too. I spend more time in the garage vrs the kitchen. I see the kitchen as an ergonomicall correct place for anyone, so, that means if you want something cooked open up a cookbook and learn how to do it yourself. The fridge handle fits ALL hands, so getting a cold one is up to you too. Now if you can serve me, I can return the favor.

Yeah, I know you are . . me too. Just have to jerk your chain a little. That's what's nice about everyone here . . can take a jerk or joke now and then, maybe more often. I like the banter, at least it's healthy to banter and have some fun. If this stuff was at work someone would be getting sued or fired for sexual harassment!!!

Hey wanna - I like the analogy about the hair - good idea to do it that way. I am right at the two Hosses age wise also, but hey - what is age - just more experienced and better at most things. I have two kids older than Hoss, so HOSS that could make me your mothers age or older. Imagine that, having a kid like Hoss?????
Hey Cin, while I do not drink, I have always considered that a Margarita would be at the top of the list of places to start, so, you can have mine too for now.
Guess I'd better be checking on my reputation too.
