I work at a John Deere dealership as a mechanic along with a new member, Termite 06 (Evan Coville). Evan just bought a '06 CTD and like the rest of us got bit by the bombing bug.

Monday, at work, he was checking bearrings he had replaced in an implement and got his leg caught in a rotating drum and had to have it amputated above the knee. He is in the hospital and doing well but will be laid up for awhile.

I would like to get the prayers and thoughts of his new DTR family to take to him while he is recovering.

On a side note, everyone needs to be VERY CAREFUL for a while.
My draftsman's wife had a headon collision with a tree.
Our purchasing agent went in the hospital with a ruptured apendix and gangreen.
One of our warehouse workers T-boned a car yesterday and broke his cheek.
and finally, there was a 14 car pile up during rush hour yesterday killing one person.

That is terrible to hear of and scary since my cousin works at a JD dealership as a mechanic. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.

I will be praying for him here. Just remember this is not the end of his life at all. I have a buddy who is paralyzed from the waste down, and he has a better attitude than most people i know who can still walk. He also has a pulling tractor, a bombed 94 CTD, and an 03 Chevy, and we ride 4 wheelers a lot. If you keep a good attitude through something like this, nothing can get you down.
