Good eye Sniper!

Did a triple take when I saw that one. We had just come through a gully washer too. I know whatever was the back seat of that thing is soaked.

haha yeah...you don't understand why tools or accessories are made until you're actually there. I've nervously watched a fourwheeler tease my rear window when I hauled it.

Oh the flip flop guy is going to hate himself in the morning, and probably throughout the afternoon. I like that courtesy kick a passerby gave to help the dude reach his flipper.

Should've went with a Dodge front end, and maybe a Ford bed. How bad can they screw up a bed?

Rifle in baggage goes off, shoots United employee

Associated Press

KENNER, La. -- An airport employee was accidentally shot when a hunting rifle discharged a round as it was being checked as baggage at the United Airline ticket counter.

Sgt. Larry Dyess of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office says it happened about 10:30 a.m. Monday as the firearm was in the process of being cleared as checked baggage.

Dyess says the bullet struck a counter and a piece of it then hit the employee in the leg. The employee was transported to an area hospital for treatment of what Dyess described as a non-life threatening injury.

Dyess says the passenger, 65-year-old Edward Deubler, of Harvey, was given a misdemeanor summons for negligent injury.

Geez, people doing stupid stuff like that doesn't do any of us any good. Also, from what I've seen airline agents are expected to clear firearms when they are checked, but apparently they don't recieve any training on the very basics of safe firearm handling.

Oh dear, more hassel a'coming for the responsible gun owners. What in the world is that dude doing transporting a rifle through flight with one in the chamber. S/He did not do her/his due diligence! Why didn't that numbskull not check the chamber when s/he was packing for the trip!

I wanna know what other crap was packed in the rifle case with that rifle that the trigger was engaged, either by other stuff or the TSA agent's finger...and the safety was off!!! Shheeessh!
