Erick Arrieta Killed By Monster Caracas Zoo Python
by Mitch Marconi
A 10-foot python has reportedly killed a student zookeeper who released the snake out of its enclosure in Venezuela while working the night shift at the Caracas zoo.
Caracas zoo employees were horrified when they discovered the Burmese Python as it tried to swallow its victim's head, local media reported.
According to BBC reports, the co-workers beat the snake to force it to let go of Erick Arrieta's body.
Marks on Arrieta's left wrist indicates that the snake had bitten him before crushing him to death.
Arrieta, who was 29 and a Biology student, had been supervising the reptile section alone on Saturday night when he violated zoo rules by opening the snake's cage, Venezuela's El Universal newspaper quoted zoo officials as saying.
The snake was donated to the Caracas zoo two months ago and was not on public display, said the zoo's management in a statement.
"The young man underestimated the animal's instinct," said Javier Hernandez, director general of the Parque del Este zoo.

OW! Poor little guy......that is why we have to tell kids not to play with stuff like that. he probably tripped and landed in a manner that shoved it thru his nose. It could have just as easily taken out an eye
I hate to see children suffer like that........

But what is not funny is she sued them and they settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money. Her lawyer said it was enough for her to "buy any Toyota on the lot".

Who was the jokster that thought that one up.
It doesn't look like she is very well equiped to be a Hooters girl. Am I missing something or is she?
