This years Buck

OK I know it is not the biggest out there but for Western NY it is pretty good. Approx 135" and weighed over 215#

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I 10X'd him at 125 yds with a 12 gauge shotgun.

At least you got one! It was so warm down here they weren't moving and we didn't have enough fellas pushing either. When it is hot everyone sits and stays cool.

To your credit 125 yards is quite a nice shot. The modern bolt shotguns are capable of 3" groups at that distance so for you to nail him is commendable.

Awesome job! 135" aint nothing to sneeze at!!!

I spent a few hours today watching a smaller buck and 3 does play around in a winter wheat field across the road from my house with my binos.

It has been an awfully warm season here also. Today it was 57 degrees, that is just wrong. I had a small doe walk by this morning with her mouth open panting. She was not running either. These temps and a thick fur coat. they are all staying put.. We don't do any drives on this property.
