Haaaa!! Thanks to mother nature being mean, I got to teach him snow ball throwing this morning.
Probably shouldn't have done it in the house but there were more moving targets.
Good thing the sprinkler system didn't dump a few tons of ice on airplanes like a few years ago.
Shame about that hangar fire in Butte on Tuesday. Guess he lost all three aircraft including the new one.
Well, time to go pick up some more people. At least the snow is melting.

Ok clarification she came to my house with me when she got off work. Being over at her place is the only time I get a break if I'd had been home I would have had to help my brother unload a tractor trailer full of tires over at the warehouse and I'm still having gout problems and a broke toe wouldn't have been nice.

I have been thinking though.
Facebook sounds pretty neat but if I was going to start some social media thing I would want it to be have a distinctive look to it.
A different perspective.
A different outlook.
I would call it Butt Book and it would have a different slant or angle than Facebook.
Its just a thought.

See what I mean, it's just not going to end well.
Congrats BARK, another grandchild to spoil and send home to the kids.
This is how my day went yesterday.
Arrived at work 5:45 AM as usual. Foot of snow in the parking lot, the snow removal people were backed up. Got out of the Jeep only to hear this awful screaming noise coming from somewhere inside the building. Couldn't get the door open. Tried another, same thing. Went around to the other side to the flight ops offices and got in. The floor was wet, ah, soaked. The closer I got to the hangar, the more water there was. Then ice. That's why I couldn't get the other doors open, froze shut from the inside. Got into the hangar and there was 2-4" of ice on the floor with a layer of water on it. The screaming noise was from the last working heater, now non working heater. Pipe froze and burst flooding the hangar, maintenance office, and parts room. Then freezing. The flight ops area still had heat so it just got soaked. Finally after waking up the land lord we got the water shut off. Borrowed a Herman-Nelson and concentrated on thawing the floor drain in the hangar so I could pry it open after the land lord sealed it shut last summer. Ice is still slowly melting, just can't get it warm enough to go any faster.
So, howz your day going?

Here I am.
It's the Saturday before Christmas, December 21st. If you're going to wimp out and buy Christmas presents, now's the time to do it.
At 12:11PM it will officially be winter.
1620 - The "Mayflower", and its passengers, pilgrims from England, landed at Plymouth Rock, MA.
1937 - Walt Disney debuted the first, full-length, animated feature in Hollywood, CA. The movie was "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
1944 - Horse racing was banned in the United States until after the end of World War II.
1945 - U.S. Gen. George S. Patton died in Heidelberg, Germany, of injuries from a car accident.
1968 - Apollo 8 was launched on a mission to orbit the moon. The craft landed safely in the Pacific Ocean on December 27.
1978 - Police in Des Plaines, IL, arrested John W. Gacy Jr. and began unearthing the remains of 33 men and boys that Gacy was later convicted of killing.
1988 - 270 people were killed when Pan Am Boeing 747 exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland, due to a terrorist attack.
1990 - In a German television interview, Saddam Hussein declared that he would not withdraw from Kuwait by the UN deadline.
1996 - After two years of denials, U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich admitted violating House ethics rules.
1998 - The first vaccine for Lyme disease was approved. (This is incorrect. I had the vaccine in the early 90's)
2002 - Larry Mayes was released after spending 21 years in prison for a rape that maintained that he never committed. He was the 100th person in the U.S. to be released after DNA tests were performed.
Today's thought:
The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.
C0ffee & ph00 are ready.
TOB&F today please.

Rottie is doing well, tumor hasnt shrunken any as the docs had hoped it might, but the dog doesnt seem to care, shes feeling good and loving the extra attention THE BOSS is giving her..
Tommorow is baking day, all the ladies will be here making Christmas cookies, chocolates and other goodies... man, its tough to hang around, being used as a taster, stealing cookies and all.. resting today so Ive got the strength to get through it.
Im gonna be assigned as babysitter, so I have to spend the day playing with THE BOSS JR and THE PRINCESS..terrible job, just terrible..
Supposed to go over to daughter#2's house today and varnish her kitchen cabinets, but cant seem to get motivated to go out in the sleet and rain to go..guess I better tho, if I want any goodies tomorrow.
well, better get moving, got to check the water tanks, then go sniff paint fumes..
Yall be safe,
Chris

Well my Friday ended with an OH C!!!!!!! Swung by the mail box on the way home. Got too close to the edge and down she went. At least I missed the mail boxes. Thawed out the Cummins to go fetch. But, someone helped themselves to everything I had in the bed. So, no chain, strap, come-a-long, jacks, tools, everything Had to call a wrecker and was expecting a huge recovery bill from MTR. The old man they sent out was the original starter of the company. Instead of handing me a bill, he shook my hand and said Merry Christmas and have a better day.

Oh mercy - -I will be outside all night and day watching with the hand held watching for it - - - - -NOT. You couldn't find me if you wanted to. I have camoed the house, the truck, the RV isn't here but hidden elsewhere. I have a new radiant barrier that distorts all seeking signals and points them back to the origination point. So careful where you launch from - - you will be eating it a little while later. ...................................
Boy it's hot here. Horrible.
Speaking of horrible, just got back from restocking the kitchen. Horrors, what an experience. These people are wandering around the aisles, basket in the middle of the aisle, they standing scratching their - - uhhh - - - uhhhh, arm while the carts are stacking up in the aisle. Will not move, no idea they are blocking traffic. No wonder I hate to shop for anything other than blue stuff (you know, pink chores, blue chores - - yeh, you got it). Well, stuff that helps get blue chores done like drills, saws, hammers, nails, screwdrivers, fishing poles - - - no, wait a minute, how did that get in here?
Gotta go get some tan. Later.
ps: by the way, coming to this site is becoming a pain. I have to raise my pop blocker almost to the max in order to not have an ad popping up on my screen with every key stroke. Then, with everykey stroke, it asks me if I wish to "allow." Very disgusting. What has happened to our site?
