Re:Wwwaaaayyyyyyyy Off - Topic

Thanks for looking

Javaluva, are you on a PC or Mac? What player do you have installed? What browser are you using? Thanks again.

98ramtough, we were out there for several hours and only saw one guy go down. He didn't get hurt, but his bike case got cracked and all the oil drained out on the street. Had to shut it down while they cleaned up the spill. 2 others dropped thier bikes with little damage, they were all low speed. Lucky for them since most had little to no gear on. Which I find somewhat silly.

Thanks for looking

Thumper

Re:Wwwaaaayyyyyyyy Off - Topic

Alpine Ram,

there is no mime setting so I couldn't really tell you that. It was captured using a NTSC DVD setting and the codec is set to DivX. My first guess was the codec probably wasn't supported but I think there is a error message for that, not just a page full of code.

I think though that I have narrowed it down to a Nets. problem. I hope anyways. I should have tested it but I'm not a Net. fan .

Thanks
thumper

Well if you can't set mime-types you are not RFC compliant. (Mime-types are set by the server to tell the browser what to do with the file)

AlpineRAM

I just upload and sit back and watch. So if the Mime settings are on the server I can't do much about that.

I did a little research on the matter and from what I'm seeing apparently Netscape does not support .wmv files. I suppose it may be worth me trying to put up a .rm file for those using Netscape or AOL. As AOL is not happy about .wmv files from what I'm learning.

Thanks everyone
Thumper

Worked great for me, both videos took a few secs for buffering but they both worked great, sound was good too. That bald headed sucker doing the wheelies should *really* be wearing a helmet though! :

Ya think?

I personally would have an entire set of leathers on if I were doing that. For crying out loud I wear more than that when riding my dirt bike. I don't even do tricks either

thumper
