Seen a Craigslist add up here a few days ago that was for a 12v electric blanket you could plug into you Cig. lighter outlet for "instant heat".......

I'm hearing rumors of -50* tonight..... Haven't seen that cold on the forcast but it seems to me that they change the forcast about every 27 seconds or so. It is entirely possible that I missed an update or to there........

It has warmed up to 12f at my place because of the stupid clouds Aaaaaaggggghhhh! We had counted 51 meteors in one hour than a layer of clouds came in. Its supposed to clear up again and get colder but yesterday the weatherman said it was just supposed to be clear and why he would lie about a thing like that is beyond me and they should all be taken out and shot, disemboweled, disgraced, disarmed, Uh, maybe I need to eat something and take a laxative to calm me down.

WE have been told by the weather folk that there is a heavy band of freezing rain heading our way. Right now its -10C and the temp is rising to 0C or 32F. This is when the rain hits, then 10-20 cm of snow could follow, then we drop back down into bitter cold and nasty wind chills.

Poor widdo Lary and his cold LEGGS. Its so sad that we have to go through these difficult times in order to display such beauty.

I will be strutting along with LEGGS all red and shiny from the rain shortly.

Oh gee - - I feel so warm and cozy with that image in my mind. Really cold down here - - damage to the orange crop last night. Nasty. Stop it you crazee Yankees and Canucks - - aim it all the other way or no more OJ - - that is a threat. 38 here last night and 55 high - - right now. Guess I might not go in the pool today - - too expensive to run that durn heater very much. Orchids are enjoying the warmth of the pool bath. YUK - - but I know it is much better than a lot of you are having - - so I will not complain.

Off to the doc again this morning - - stopping the Zocor has definitely helped things around here. I can actually feel my feet again - - they are on the ends of my LEGGS - - first time to feel the carpet under my bare foot in almost two years. Really weird what some of these drugs can do to you. Soooo, now to find something to take its place. Big party tonight - - should be fun. OK, off to get something done. Have a gudurn,

Bob

Just a quick stop to gloat a bit. Oops, Bark said that's not allowed, but too late, I done did it.

Been watching all the "nice" weather some of you are "enjoying" north of the border and north of that border. That is why I escaped as I was tired of that horrible stuff. Ain't no fun in those conditions. Spent most of the day in shorts, outside on a ladder working on my RV and sweating a lot. Almost prefect weather here after the night chill vanished.

Gloat over. Keep sending that cold stuff towards FiverBob. Sounds like he can handle it just fine.

Hey Scottie, when did you say that you are moving to Mexico?

Evening DTR.

Shoveled the drive again today and then went over to mom and dads to clear off their drive with the snow blower. Took mom to Costco and to the grocery store today, she didn't want to try and take the 300 out into he snow. Fried up some fish and friend some homemade french fries for dinner tonight.

Greetings. We are in our third hour of freezing rain. Its getting colder so its now chattering off the windows of the house...soon it will be snow. Radar show a massive area of this stuff hovering over top.

Going to have to get an earlier start then normal to get to work if I need to chip this stuff off the truck...again.

squirt bottles dont do much on vacuum leaks. just sucks the liquid in and doesn't blow bubble like pneumatics....

My experience has been with an operating engine with a bad leak a change in idle speed will occure if you hit the leak with the spray. Sometimes you have to use something like WD40 as well. BTW, what are you working on?

its a complaint going back to last weekend with my daughters 01 Xterra. I finally chased it down to the wires on her MAF sensor, but I started by looking for vacuum leaks first.
It would idle down and stall kinda at random, but only after it warmed up so I figured it was a loose hose or a crack in a hose that was opening up.
