According to the advisory, a computer user surfing the internet with the Microsoft Internet Explorer could activate the malware by hitting the F1 key, after being prompted to do so, while visiting an infected website when certain Microsoft products are installed and running on their systems. Then some hacker computer will gain full control of your computer.

Who the heck would be dumb enough to hit the F1 key because some website told you to?

How often do any of you frequent a place that tells you to hit the F1 key?

F1 normally calls up help for the screen, function or program you are using. Maybe the dialog box said if you have XYZ issue press F1 for help to resolve.

1. Get Win 7 (it´s really good, every Vista user should switch)
2. Use Firefox!

I get as many security updates on my W7x64 Pro as I do on the XP Pro machines..

Firefox is the only way to surf, they have an add-on for just about everything..

Ahhhhhhh....well that explains it I never have the time to do any gaming, though I probably might enjoy it. I knew it had to be something I was just not aware of, thanks for solving the mystery and bringing me into the 21st century
