Windows up or down?

Ok, so I'm driving into the office today and the outside temperature is 45 degrees according to the overhead. I have my window down enjoying the fresh air and I guess if I was a dog I'd have my head/tongue hanging out too. I started observing and counting other cars and out of 173 cars only 16 have their windows even cracked a little let alone all the way down. Now when the temps get to 90 or higher, yeah, I'm sealed up tight and the AC is on, but I like the cold not the heat. But I see this as indicative of a lot of society today, sealed up in their controled environment homes, go to the controled environment car to get to the controled environment office. Are people afraid of the outdoors? Am I weird? or what?

P.S. 173 cars, but 3 guys on motorcycles, RIDE ON! I'd have been on the bike if I could have.

I'm actually quite the opposite. I love the heat and leave my windows sealed up tight when it's below 70* outside. Come summer time though, my windows are down my ac is turned all the way up.

Got a sunroof, not as noisy as the window on the freeway. Got up to frost on the ground this morning. Takeing the dogs out for a stretch just as the sun was peeking over the trees, you could watch change from a blue-gray frost on the ground, to a deep green dew, except in the shaded areas.

Once it hits 50* the windows come down. On ths highway if its a little too cool to be cruisin at 70 with the windows down, I slide open the escape hatch in the back window. I rarely use my ac, even when fuel was cheap i never use it unless it feels like the surface of the sun outside (100*+).

I like to leave my windows down as long as I'm by myself or not wanting to talk to whoevers riding. I can't leave them down in cincinnati (its always dark down there if you know what I'm gettin at) and the wind gets to be a bit much for me at 70, so the AC comes on on the highway. I have found with stacks you cant have the slider and front windows down at the same time. Lets just say my brown headliner turned black..

Windows down for me, but that's because the A/C hasn't worked since I got the truck. It has some serious leaks somewhere.

Like the fresh air better than canned air anyday.

With the humidity in College Station that is a very good way to create a thunderstorm in the cab of your truck.

I keep my windows down as much as I can. I like the fresh air.

I'll take any form of rain that I can at this point in time.

Come on over to the Austin area. We've been getting a fair share of it in the time I've been here. Of course, we've also gotten MORE than our fair share of hail...which I'm not too excited about. In the month I've been here I think it has hailed 6 times.
