Being a long time r/c flyer, the question about all the crashes and destroyed machines.....well the last one I crashed the wind blew most of the junk away before I could get to it and I just kicked dirt over the rest.
Still cheaper hobby than fishing......20k for the boat and 40k for the DCTD to haul it 10k for all the gear.
You lose about 30k the moment you drive out the door so that alone gives me about 3 complete jets... top of the line. On a bad day 3 flights or on a lighter scale about 30 planes, or about 15 choppers. Not quite a lifetime supply but enough untill you trade the DCTD and boat in.
