Wife's new boat puller
Wife's new boat puller
No its not a cummins, but we finally managed to get her a vehicle to pull our boat (remember wagon train photo in gallery). Its a red 2006 Dodge Durango, 4x4, 4.7 V8. She loves it so far except fuel milage. Maybe now I can stop making two trips when we go camping!
Now I just gotta give her some towing lessons.
Has anyone had one of these and if so what kind of experience have/did you have. The boat only weighs about 2,500# so I think we'll be fine. They are installing receiver hitch this week. We looked @ the Tahoe and Trailblazer, but they came off 12k on this 06.

OOOHHH yea she likes it! She has been driving a 2002 Chrysler Sebring 2 door for the last 4 and a half years. She's loving the room and 4 doors with the two kids 13 and 15. Her daily work commute is only 16 mi round trip a day, so gas milage is not a big concern. It'a actually AWD with 4 lock. Even got Sirius sat radio for 1 yr. It will be nice to make 1 trip to the lake and back!
