Does anyone else get into hot water for spending to much time on here? Im on here everyday for hours on end learning as much as possible. I just cant get the wife to understand.

 

I am in the same boat I get all the time that I love this website more than her.. Just to make her mad one day when she said I spend more money in my truck than her I told her I put my money into things I really like.. Kinda quiet for a few days after that

 

Yes I do. She finally realized that I get more than just CTD info on here. I've got some pretty good friends on here and have learned more than just Cummins stuff. I tend to reference DTR alot about situations that come up. She's come to terms with the fact that this has become part of my life.... At least I like to tell myself that.

I frequent this sight and .dodgeintrepid.net quite often.
My wife knows that I save us thousands per yr in repairs on my truck her car and even my daughters Corolla. I cross reference from one site to another anytime the first sight gets stumped. This doesn't happen often but it does happen.
Of course I've got a pretty extraordinary women. She bought me a dirt bike (99WR 400) for Christmas one yr. This was the first bike I'd had in 15 yrs.
I believe that was the closest I'd ever came to shedding tears of joy.

 

There's three of us sharing the computer and I keep trying to horn in and check DTR. My time is early in the morning, 1st up, or late in the evening.

She's now pushing for a computer of her own and we just set up a wirless router. Soon we'll all be on at once and not talking at all.

No, she will help if somone has a question that is in her field and she can help.
She knows I am learning alot about our truck. Have got a lot of help here, not only on Dodge CTD, but other help.
Also share some of the humor with her. Some times if is say, hey come look at this, I loose the computer untill she is done. Also share some of the neat pix with the kids. JKM on the farm pix intrest the kidletts.
It is kind of a family thing.
I get what else I am supposed to get done on here, done. Most of the time

 

Initially i did, but since she has come to a couple GTG's and has seen a few trucks blowing smoke, and SATBURNS video, she is getting intersted in the trucks as well and realizes how much info I have gleaned from this site....
she only complains when chores dont get done because I am on here....

 

My wife knows that DTR has helped me learn most of what I know about these trucks, and a lot of other general stuff. It did bug her at first, but she sees benefit, and I am not on here all that much

 

My wife is on the puter way more than me. I have to try and sneak in to get on DTR!! She has an online store, helps another girl with her store, writes a column for an online magazine and thats just what I've heard about!!! So usually if I'm on here it's early or just after dinner when she is busy.

Yeah, I talk about DTR too. Stories I've read, information....comedy!!!
